Windows On Texas Showcase
HUGE event - GREAT results!

"Big things are going to happen for [Tony]."
Debbie Green - Promoter, Owner, BGM Records

"Great vocals, fluid guitar.  Pro-quality all the way"
John Greenberg AKA "Johnny Gringo" - Audio Canvas Productions and Walt Wilkins' guitarist.
(Walt Freakin' Wilkins!)

"I was totally engaged from the start.  Very Radio-friendly."

Pete Knapp - Shut Eye Records & Agency, Atlanta GA

"...you listen to it over and over..."
Pigeon O'Brien - Pigeon Publicity

"I really like your music.  Here's my card..."
Roger Ramsey - Former Promotion Director for MCA Records, involved in developing the careers of George Strait, Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood, and Vince Gill.

In addition, and really the biggest thing to come out of the event, was when Jan Fritz, (wife of Jay Fritz and owners of all four stations in the Texas Rebel Radio Network) hugged me, and said that "San Saba River" brought tears to her eyes, and could she please have a copy.  This may mean that I'm going to be on the radio in what's called "regular rotation".  (Of course, it may only mean that I've earned some space in her iPod, but that's pretty cool too.)
I've been honored by KXOX in Sweetwater, KACU, KEAN and KBCY in Abilene, and other radio stations by their gracious offer to play my music as part of their Specialty Programming, like "Planet Texas" (on KXOX), or when Rudy "Fearless" Fernandez, Greg Austin, or JB Cloud find a reason to play local content that's not really a part of their regular lineup.  (I salute these brave souls - "breaking format" is a cardinal, fired immediately, no-second-chances SIN against Corporate Radio World.)

Rebel Brothers ROCK!

I've seen you at shows from Cozumel, Mexico, to Spicewood, Texas, to Oklahoma, a hundred times in our home town, and now Fredericksburg, for the biggest event of my career so far.  I needed you, and you came.  You brought love and support, and filled up the tip jar on top of it all.  I say it a lot, and I'm afraid sometimes that I've worn out the words, but I can't thank you enough.  This can be a brutal grind, and you make it not merely worth it, but easy to keep going.  I love y'all with all my heart, and I'll do my best to make you tired of hearing that.
This goes especially for Tammy Mach, who's been manager, roadie, sound engineer, finder of lost picks, train whistle soloist, and overall brains of the operation.
I hope every artist has friends like you.
I hope you have friends like you.
